Aiming at bringing transparency and accountability in the process of delivering services to public, Punjab Right to Service Commission on Friday asked nodal officers to ensure strict implementation of Punjab Right to Service Act.
On the concluding day of the five-day training programme organised by PRSC, its Commissioner Dalbir Singh Verka asked the nodal officers to take necessary action to ensure delivery of services within a stipulated time frame and maintaining proper record.
He asked the officers to ensure that all information related to notified services, application forms and documents required for obtaining the service are uploaded on the website of the departments concerned.
Verka also asked the nodal officers to send the Action Taken Report to the Commission within a month, failing which appropriate action would be taken against the erring officers.
