In an attempt to project West Bengal as an emerging and ideal investment destination, the State Government has joined hands with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to organise the first of the four Road Shows ahead of Bengal Leads 2015. The first road show was held in Mumbai today.
Bengal Leads is a global summit, organised by the State and will be held on January 7 and January 8 at the Eco Tourism Park at Rajarhat, New Town on the North Eastern fringes of the city.
Leading the joint business team from Bengal was Debashis Sen, Principal Secretary, Department of Urban Development and Town and Country Planning, West Bengal. The team also included Sudip Dutta, Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (ILFS), and Sumit Dabriwala, Managing Director, Riverbank Developers Pvt. Ltd.
The remaining three road shows will be held in Bangalore (November 3), Hyderabad (November 6) and Chennai (November 10).
