Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will launch various development projects to the tune of ₹252.50 crore in Bantwal assembly constituency on October 22.
Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, B Ramanatha Rai, Minister in-charge of Dakshina Kannada district and Member of Legislative Assembly from Bantwal, said that these projects include the ones that have been completed also.
The completed projects include a new bus-stand in BC Road Town, water supply projects in some villages of Bantwal taluk, and upgraded 100-bed government hospital in Bantwal among others. The government has spent around ₹148.29 crore on these completed projects.
Apart from these projects, the Chief Minister will also lay foundation stone on other development works worth ₹104.21 crore on the occasion. The proposed projects include the construction of a vented dam, and water supply schemes to several villages in the taluk.
