The South India Hotels and Restaurants Association will organise the ‘SIHRA Convention 2015’ from July 2 to 4 in Hyderabad.
Hoteliers and restaurateurs from Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will meet and discuss the trends and opportunities in the hospitality sector.
The convention will see participation of more than 600 delegates drawn from the southern States, said K Syama Raju, President of the Association. The theme for this year will be ‘Redefining hospitality and monetising tourism.’
It will focus on changing technology, human resource management and emerging concepts in food and beverage (F&B) segments and restaurants.
A special session with members of the department of tourism both at the regional and national level is also being considered to ensure a direct interface for the participants with the government.
There will be a trade show on the sidelines of the convention, Syama Raju added.
