The Salem Division of Southern Railway is involving people in its cleanliness drive. The authorities are inviting school and college students and NGOs to do wall paintings on various social themes in the railway station premises within its jurisdiction. It has already done this at Coimbatore, Mettupalayam and Salem Stations and plans to invite participants for doing such wall paintings at Erode, Salem and Tiruppur as well among others. Those interested may contact the Public Relations Officer, Salem Division. Paint and other input materials will be provided by the railways, a Southern Railway release said.
