The Kerala cabinet has decided to rope in tennis legend Steffi Graf as brand ambassador for tourism and ayurveda.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
Details of Graf's remuneration package have not been spelt out. The State government has also been wooing actor Shah Rukh Khan and a few other international celebrities for the purpose.
Graf had already declared her willingness to push Kerala tourism and ayurveda internationally. Talks had been locked over the 'budget part' of the deal, according to sources.
