The Pune-based SYSKA LED will set up Rs 500-crore LED lights manufacturing facility in Telangana. The firm, which will be established in a plot of 50 acres, is expected to create 2,000 jobs. Representatives of the company, led by its Director Rajesh Uttamchandani, met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao to brief him about the proposed project.
“The Chief Minister has assured them of all help in setting up the manufacturing plant in the State,” a statement from the Government said on Monday.
Representatives of Advanced Optronic Devices (AOD) of the United States have also met the Chief Minister to moot a proposal to set up a unit in the State. AOD Chief Executive officer Pratap Kandamuri was among the executives that the Chief Minister at the Camp Office would discuss the plan.
