In a sudden development, the Chief Executive Officer of tech start-up incubator T-Hub, Jay Krishnan, has put in his papers. He is likely to take up a job in an investment firm.
The board of T-Hub has accepted his resignation, while asking its Chief Operating Officer, Srinivas Kollipara, to hold charge as interim CEO.
Jay Krishnan built the incubator, set up in the public-private partnership model, from scratch, making it the biggest tech start-up incubator in the country.
His resignation raises eyebrows, with the second phase of T-Hub, coming up at Rayadurgam, scheduled to begin operations in the next few months. “Jay will work as an advisor and assist the new CEO during the transition period,” a T-Hub executive said.
The incubator recently began its Lab32, the second cohort of start-ups.
