Start-up incubator T-Hub has launched its academic membership programme ‘T-Tribe’, which targets early-stage start-ups and student entrepreneurs.
T-Hub will work with top academic institutions with incubation programmes to roll out this programme. It will set up T-Tribe satellite centres in association with these institutions to give access to knowledge-sharing sessions, training sessions and workshops.
Call for applications
The programme will have two components ― Launchpad and Master Class. The maiden batches will be inducted in June. T-Hub has called for applications from interested colleges and student entrepreneurs.
“The Launchpad is a one-year entrepreneurship platform that is designed for academic institutions that have incubation or e-cells,” Ravi Narayan, Chief Executive Officer, T-Hub, said.
The Launchpad initiative will help the academic institutions provide guidance on how to run an incubation programme.
The second component ― Master Class ― is an entrepreneurship learning and pre-incubation programme which targets student entrepreneurs.
As part of the four-month Master Class programme, over 70 student innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to receive advance mentoring from T-Hub.
“During such unprecedented times of a global crisis, there is a need to create a strong innovation-driven culture in academic institutions,” Ravi Narayan said.
