Advocates in Telangana will organise a dharna at Indira Park here on November 27, demanding a slew of welfare measures. “We have submitted a memorandum to the government seeking health cards, house sites and creation of a welfare fund of ₹500 crore, among others. There has been no response so far and we propose to organise a dharna,” B Konda Reddy, President, Federation of Bar Associations of Telangana, told newspersons at a press conference here on Saturday. Telangana has about 30,000 advocates and no welfare measures were extended to them so far, Reddy added.
