Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Ltd (APCOB) has been reconstituted into two banks following the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
With effect from April 2, 2015, it will function two separate state cooperative banks – Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd (TSCAB) and APCOB for the residual State of AP, according to a notification.
As part of this exercise, 35 branches in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad will function as branches of TSCAB while two branches at Tirupathi and Vijayawada will function as that of APCOB.
``The customers are assured that there will not be any change in services/facilities provided to them except change in the name of the bank,’’ it said.
