Tamil Nadu government today said the draft of its new ‘Natural Farming Policy’ was being prepared and was in the final stages of completion by an expert committee.
Agriculture Minister S Damodaran today informed the Assembly that an expert committee was going into the issue of natural farming to form the government’s policy and the draft of the policy was in its final stages.
He was replying DMDK member R Santhi, who suggested that the government could look into the natural farming, since it would not affect the fertility of the soil.
