Digital transformation company, UST Global, has inaugurated new office space at Kochi’s World Trade Centre building, two floors of which will serve as an offshore delivery centre (ODC) for global clients.
Clients and the company’s leadership team including Sunil Balakrishnan, Global Head, Development Centre Operations, and Vivek Sarin, General Manager, were present on the occasion.
PAN-INDIA PRESENCE
The 1,000+ seater space in the ninth and tenth floors of the Brigade World Trade Centre at Infopark, Kochi, will host ODCs for clients primarily in the BFSI (banking, financial services, and insurance) and retail sectors.
The World Trade Centre Kochi is itself located in the heart of the booming IT hub of Kakkanad, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, grade A Specifications and LEED Gold pre-certification.
UST Global currently has over 2,000 associates at the Kochi centre and over 15,000 associates in India. Last year, the company opened a new delivery centre in Hyderabad as part of its global expansion plans.
Alexander Varghese, Chief Administrative Officer & Country Head, UST Global, said Kerala is a key geography for them in terms of expansion and availability of talent.

According to Sunil Balakrishnan, Kochi is well positioned in terms of its modern infrastructure and talent to meet the needs of the company's global clients.
