Telecom major Vodafone India in collaboration with the Department of Posts in Goa has introduced bill payment facility through computerised post offices.
Vodafone has taken the initiative to introduce ‘pay through post office facility’ to make it simple, easy, secure and less time-consuming for customers to make their bill payments, a company statement issued here today said.
The facility is only for operator’s post-paid customers.
“Post offices are spread across the State and through this partnership, Vodafone takes bill payment facility closer to home for customers living in the interiors of the State,” it added.
“We strongly believe this post-paid bill payment facility will significantly enhance the convenience factor for our valued customers, in remitting their monthly mobile bills,” Ashish Chandra, Business Head, Maharashtra and Goa, Vodafone India, said.
The facility is available at 53 computerised post offices and the company plans to extend the facility to remaining computerised post offices, he said.
