WEBCON, formerly known as West Bengal Consultancy Organisation Ltd, plans to set up entrepreneur nurturing centre in various parts of the country to provide assistance to prospective entrepreneurs.
According to Mr Debanjan Datta, Managing Director, WEBCON, the centre would play a catalytic role in training, creating, and nurturing entrepreneurs to set up enterprises and generate employment.
“The fear of starting out on one’s own, lack of knowledge, networking, or inputs, lack of start-up funds are some of the key constraints in encouraging people to become entrepreneurs. These can all be addressed effectively to encourage and ensure that a good number of those obtaining training become entrepreneurs,” Mr Datta said.
