OPPO, a smart devices firm, has signed an agreement with start-up incubator T-Hub to
provide incubation support, technical mentorship and access to new markets to selected entrepreneurs.
“The collaboration will bring in scale up opportunity for some innovative start-ups in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, 5G, battery, camera and image processing and gaming,” Tasleem Arif, Vice-President, and Head R&D, OPPO India, has said.
T-Hub, on its part, will mentor the start-ups and give them exposure to domestic and global incubation and innovation ecosystems.
OPPO India will explore the potential of start-ups in the country to develop customer-centric innovations, he said.
Earlier this year, OPPO signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Hyderabad) to promote collaborative research.
