The All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council has elected Anantha Padmanaban Chairman and Shaankar Sen Vice- Chairman for two years.
Padmanaban of NAC Jewellers has been associated with GJC since its inception. He said the Council would strive to inspire more jewellers to get organised so as to project a unified approach to policy changes.
Sen of Senco Group is known for his vision to create benchmarks in gold, silver and fashion jewellery that reflects excellence in design and artistry. Mohanlal Jain and S Abdul Nazar were elected committee of administration from South; Nilesh Shobhawat from West; and Kamal Singhania from East. Shaankar Sen, Zonal Chairman East, Ashish Pethe, Zonal Chairman West, Anantha Padmanaban, Zonal Chairman South, Avinash Gupta and Madan Kothari, committee of administration were elected unopposed.
