Prime Minister Narendra Modi will video-conference with the Chief Secretaries of various states on September 30 to review the progress of solar projects, it is learnt.
As a precursor to that, the Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Upendra Tripathy, will have a chat with Chief Secretaries of 18 states in the afternoon on September 23 (today). Tripathy’s office has confirmed the proposed video interaction.
Both the interactions will happen on the PRAGATI platform which stands for Pro-Active Governance And Timely Implementation. Through PRAGATI, the Prime Minister interacts (on the fourth Wednesday of every month) with the Secretaries of the Government of India and the Chief Secretaries of various states.
