Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd and Arvind Real Estate, a real estate arm of Arvind Ltd, on Tuesday announced the launch of the Phase-II of a mega integrated sustainable township in Ahmedabad, spread over 135 acres.
The township, “New Haven Compact”, inspired from the architecture of Gujarat and Gujarati way of life, will be designed by the US-based architectural firm HoK, according to a press release here. It will offer affordable housing in medium income consumer segment.
Located on the Vadsar-Kalol Road, near Arvind Mills campus, the project will offer 21 buildings of 1 BHK of ground-plus-four structures, priced at Rs.12.9 lakh onwards, Mr. Brotin Banerjee, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Tata Housing said. The first phase of the project, “Shubh Griha” had received overwhelming response a few months ago.
The township is being jointly developed by Tata Housing with Arvind Real Estate, under the banner of Arvind Smart Value Home LLP, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) created to develop a mega township.
Following the integrated sustainable green township approach, the New Haven Compact will be pre-certified Gold by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
