Senior revenue service officer Vanaja N Sarna will be the next Chairperson of the Central Board of Excise and Customs. The decision was taken by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, according to an official release on Thursday. Sarna, a Customs and Central Excise officer of the 1980 batch, is at present posted as Member, CBEC. She will take over from incumbent Najib Shah. Our Bureau
