State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has donated a van to Cheshire Homes here to commemorate World Disabled Day.
P. Nanda Kumaran, Managing Director, SBT, flagged off the van at a function here on Monday.
K.V. Rajagopalan Nair, Chairman, Cheshire Homes, presided over the function.
M. Nandakumar, Commissioner, Department of Rural Development, delivered the keynote address.
V. Satheesh Chandran Nair, rehabilitation officer, proposed a vote of thanks.
The vehicle will be used to transport trainees participating in the ‘Livelihood Resource Centre’ programme for the disabled conducted by Cheshire Homes. – Our Bureau
