The N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) in association with Gamatics India and Khel Foundation, plans to organise a full-day programme on sports management on January 3 at the IIMB auditorium.

The programme is being organised as part of the STEPP (Sports Talent Exploration and Promotion Program) initiative started by Gamatics India in association with NSRCEL of IIMB and Khel Foundation. STEPP-Karnataka is a pilot project focusing on sporting talent in Karnataka.

The programme received more than 3,500 applications from sports lovers drawn from diverse sports and geographies. It took three months of intensive analytics to identify the best sporting talent, over 50 coaches, more than 50 clubs and over 40 educational institutes.

The full-day programme on January 3 would focused on brainstorming, networking and chalking out plans to strengthen sports from the grass-roots level, followed by an awards function to recognise the talent identified.

The programme is expected to be attended by prominent personalities from sports, government, social and corporate sectors.
