As the countdown begins for the Cricket World Cup 2015, the micro-blogging site has launched a dedicate window on the site to give people continuous stream of updates. The dedicated timeline will be the one-stop for tweets on the cricketing jamboree to begin in Ausutralia and New Zealand next week.
“Given the millions of cricket fans who are on Twitter, we wanted to create something that would let you follow and participate in this global event. The timeline will give you tweets, commentary, photos, videos, expert analysis,” the site announced on Wednesday.
“A match timeline will come alive for every game so you can see all the score updates as well as Tweets related to that game from within your network or official accounts. If you aren’t already following your favourite players or teams playing that day, simply click on their country flags or player names to see their Twitter accounts,” it said.
To get hooked, search for #CWC15 or the official match hashtag (e.g., #INDvPAK or #AUSvENG) on iPhone or Android phones.
