Kerala Government has appointed senior IAS officer A P M Mohammed Hanish as Nodal Officer for the matches likely to beld in Kochi during the 2017 FIFA under-17 world cup football. The appointment is as per FIFA’s direction, a Kerala Football Association press release said.
The official has also been entrusted with overseeing the infrastructure and development of soccer in the run up to hosting the event. Hanish is the Kerala Roads and Bridges Managing Director.
