Start Tel Aviv, a global competition held by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tel Aviv Global that brings together technology start-ups from 21 different countries, is to organise the Start Tel Aviv-India Finals on August 28, at the India International Centre, New Delhi.

The event provides technology start-ups an opportunity to compete and take part in a five-day experience in Tel Aviv. The Delhi event, its third consecutive year in India, will choose an Indian participant for the event in Israel.

The Embassy of Israel, in partnership with TIE Delhi-NCR, is to organise the Finals.

This year’s event has received more than 100 entries from all over India. Some 35 entries were received in 2013, and over 70 were received in 2014.

The final six start-ups that have made it to the Indian finals include 6zene Technologies, that integrates cars with technology to make it work better.

The company keeps an eye on how the car is performing, and will alert the customer if there is a problem with the car, or if car is not in the best condition.

Xlpat TT Consultants has a platform that hosts a bunch of applications that automates big data searches and analysis.

The company provides high-end technical consulting services to help leading corporations and law firms invalidate patents and improve litigation outcomes.

Bangalore based Vidgyor Media Technologiesprovides a video-ad platform for Internet TV, one that auto detects original broadcast TV ads and replaces them with personalised video ads.

Also among the list is AudioCompass, a start-up that helps consumers explore different tourist spots by turning their phone into a personal audio tour guide.
