The World Peace and Diplomacy Organization (WPDO), along with Unified Brainz of India and BusinessLine, presented the Sustainable Development Accelerator awards at the 2nd Global Business Leadership Forum 2018 here on April 7.
According to a press statement, this was a global leadership forum and business award platform, which recognised businesses and business leaders, entrepreneurs, start-ups and peace activists. Models, actors, directors and other professionals from more than 15 countries were awarded.
The chief guest was Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. She released a book, World Peace & Diplomacy; The Concept Unfolded , authored by GD Singh, who is founder and president of WPDO, the statement said.
World Peace Ambassador & Messenger Title Awards were presented to social activists from across the globe who have initiated and carried on the agenda of global peace. Amruta Fadnavis was honoured with WPDO World Peace Ambassador Title.
Peace declaration
One of the main events was the Peace Declaration by the chief sponsor WPDO which was initiated by Amruta Fadnavis by striking the peace gong and signing the peace declaration by prominent peace activists from across the globe.
The Unified Brainz group also announced its upcoming project, a national level beauty pageant, India’s first Intellect Glam Hunt and Miss Beauty with Brainz.
