Tech Mahindra and edutech firm Idealabs signed an agreement to build a blockchain talent pool in the country. The two firms will offer curated professional certification blockchain courses. This would include live online classes and expert sessions by professionals from the industry.
They will also help in finding job opportunities for eligible candidates.
“There is a huge demand for Blockchain talent as the scope for the technology is very wide, touching a variety of sectors like finance, healthcare, manufacturing, education, retail and telecom,” a statement has said.
“Many Indian multinationals and start-ups are strengthening their blockchain practices to meet the requirements of their customers,” it said.
The two firms will introduce the training courses for technology students in the early years of their engineering education.
