Textile industry sources are confident that the initiatives taken by the Textiles Minister, Smriti Zubin Irani, would transform India as a global manufacturing hub for textiles.
Thanking the minister for her efforts in pursuing with the GST Council in getting the approval for GST refund for input tax credit, A Sakthivel, Southern Region Chairman of FIEO, said this would go a long way in reviving the sector and making the MSMEs globally competitive.
Sakthivel also hailed the GST Council as well for input tax credit refund.
