Modi in Odisha : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a roadshow in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, today. He will also address a rally in Sambalpur. This will be Modi’s fifth election programme in the State. Polling in the Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituencies will be held in the third phase of elections on April 23.
Mastek results : Mastek Ltd will hold a meeting of its board of directors today. The board will announce its consolidated and standalone financial results for the quarter ended March 31 and consolidated and standalone audited financial results for FY19. It will also take a call on recommending dividends for FY19.
Wipro buyback : The Wipro board will meet on today. In a filing with the BSE, the company said that it will consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares. The board will also announce results for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
Renault Kwid EV launch : Renault will unveil its Kwid -based EV called the City KZ-E today at the Shanghai Motor Show 2019. This car is the result of a collaboration between Renault and its Chinese partner, Dongfeng. The car is restyled in its front and rear, and this sets the new version apart from the Kwid it is based on. It is likely to have a range of 200 km on a single charge. The electric hatchback will go on sale in China soon and subsequently be launched in other markets, including Europe, soon. It could potentially rival the 2020 Maruti WagonR-based EV in India.
Fee hike : The user development fee levied on passengers has been revised at the Kempe-gowda inter-national airport. From today, the fee for domestic departures will be raised to ₹306 from ₹139 and for international departures to ₹1,226 from ₹558.
