Fourth phase of LS polls: The fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections will be held on Monday. 72 LS constituencies from nine states will go to polls including the sensitive regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, and parts of Madhya Pradesh. The counting will be on May 23. Three polling booths at Raiganj parliamentary seat in West Bengal will go for re-polling today. Raiganj went to poll on April 18.

Q4 results: Castrol India, RPG Life and Ambuja Cement are some of the companies to declare their Q4 results ending March 2019 on Monday. The quarterly results are likely to set tone for the stock markets.

Tamil Nadu Class X results: The Tamil Nadu SSLC exam results will be declared today at around 9.30 am. The results will be announced on the State Board official website. The candidates will also receive their results as SMS. The exams for Class X board exams were held from March 14 to March 29.

Sunny Deol to file nomination: The latest actor to enter politics, Sunny Deol will file his nomination papers from Gurdaspur. Deol joined BJP on April 23. Following his filing of nomination, he will hold a roadshow in the constituency and address a rally.

Telangana inter-exam results protest: After the alleged mismanagement of results of the Inter-exam by the Intermediate Examination Board, the Opposition have decided to hold a joint demonstartion on April 29. Leaders from Congress, Telangana TDP, TJS, and CPI are likely to join the protest. The leaders will reprimand the government for suicide of the students over evaluation process.
