College of Fisheries in Mangaluru, in association with the Hyderabad-based National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management, will conduct a training programme in ‘aquaclinics and aquapreneurship’ from January 21 to February 19. Shivakumar Magada, a convenor, said that the aquatic resources are yet to be fully tapped. One constraint is the lack of skilled manpower and entrepreneurship. The training will include exercises on the preparation of bankable projects, finance management and life skills, apart from field visits to the successful fish farms.
