Leading digital technology services player UST Global has acquired Pneuron, a Massachusetts, US-based ‘cross-platform orchestration’ start-up.

Orchestration is referred to mean the arranging and coordination of automated tasks, ultimately resulting in a consolidated process or workflow.

Busines objective

Pneuron’s original busines objective was to help clients build, deploy, and run applications that require components of value from widely disparate and diverse set of platforms and technologies.

Its platform improves time-to-value and total cost of ownership by 50 per cent when compared to conventional approaches.

Its architectural and technology strategy will provide ‘exceptional value’ to UST Global customers, a company spokesman said. Pneuron’s acquisition will help provide UST Global’s data engineering with a proven platform cited by Gartner as a ‘Cool Vendor’ and by Forrester as a ‘Breakout Vendor.’

Niranjan Ram, Vice-President, Industry Solutions, UST Global, said that data orchestration and transformation with agility and speed is a multi-faceted enterprise IT problem across verticals.

Adnan Masood, Chief Architect, AI (artificial intelligence)and Machine Learning, UST Global, acquisition of Pneuron assets will provide strategic value to help clients with cost leadership and focus.
