A Web site covering the political, social and cultural history of Kerala with a special focus on the Dutch connection in the region, has been launched.
Funded by the Netherlands Embassy in India, the Malayalam Web site, >www.dutchinkerala.com , has contents on the rise and fall of the Dutch power in Kerala during the early phases of Western colonisation and their contributions in various fields.
The English version of the site will be opened soon, its editor said. It also connects the incidents in Kerala to the national and international events that happened during the same period.
