Delhities, want to enjoy authentic central European cuisines and beer?
For the first time, a food festival of ‘Visegrad Four’ Countries — Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia — is going on here to give Delhities the taste of European dishes.
‘Quartet of European Delights’, which will continue till November 9, offers a variety of dishes from each of the four nations prepared by Chefs who have been especially flown in for the festival.
The event is being organised jointly by the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Eros Hotel.
“We would like Indians to know how diverse Czech cuisine is, just like the Country itself. We would like to show as well new modern aspects such as cuisine, fashion and lifestyle to Indian public, and to make them aware of the variety our country can offer,” a top ‘Czech Tourism’ Official said.
Slovakian Chef Marek Brezina said it was a great honour to participate in the international event in India and he is preparing typical Slovakian specialities for Delhities.
Nine famous varieties of Czech beer, including Budweiser, Pilsner and Budvar, are also being served at the festival.
Live music by Czech Jazz Band ‘Matej Benko Quintet’ can also be appreciated at the festival.
