The London Heathrow Airport has a sentimental value for Nikhil Ganju, Country Manager of travel website TripAdvisor India. The airport was among the first ones he visited. But it still comes second to Singapore’s Changi airport. In a conversation with BusinessLine , the marketing specialist tells why.
My favourite airport – Changi, Singapore
What I like about it – Like the rest of Singapore, everything always works in Changi. Be it the wi-fi, lounge or even the VAT counter to take refunds- I never encountered a situation when I was frustrated. The connectivity to the airport is also good and you are in the city in 15 minutes.
What could be improved – There is nothing about Changi that I can think of that could be improved upon. They keep doing new things so one is never bored.
Other airports I like – I like Heathrow. It has a good collection of shops and I think it has the best breakfast options. It’s large. So a few more walkways would be helpful.
Favourite in India – While I like the T3 terminal in Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport, I was pleasantly surprised by the airport in Hyderabad. It is good looking, efficient and well planned.
