Helicopter rides will be the newest attraction for visitors to the Global Village trade fair at Bolgatty Island.
The Delhi-based charter company Chipsan Aviation is partnering Global Village to provide helicopter services in Kochi.
The service will operate from Bolgatty Palace, adjacent to the Global Village venue on Lulu Convention Centre premises, till January 5 between 9 am and 5 pm.
Each ride will seat six at a time and offer a bird’s eye view of the city. The fares cost Rs 2,000. Advance bookings can be made on 9388199104.
Innovative gadgets
Meanwhile, innovative electronic gadgets and time-saving equipment are drawing the attention of visitors at the Brand Pavilion at the Global Village.
A robot from the US that can dust and clean, a hand-held sprayer from Japan that can produce refreshing cool mist on a sunny day, snooker and billiards boards are some of the attractions at the Brand Pavilion.
