Electrolux has launched the RealLife dishwasher. It claims to have the flexibility to handle utensils of all shapes. Other features include FlexiWash, which uses different temperatures in the top and bottom to treat glasses gently while giving pans an intensive wash in the same load, and XtraPower, with increased cleaning power and 40 per cent higher water pressure. The price range is Rs 58,000 to Rs 91,000.

The collection is available in colours such as blue, purple, pink, red, green and also in patterned acetates. Bonita has launched an ironing mat which comes with a cushioned ironing surface which contains polyester felt lining and heat-resistant fabric. A silicon mat ingrained in it ensures it does not get burnt when the iron is kept face down. It is meant for those who find ironing boards restrictive. It is priced Rs 845.

Paramount Surgimed has launched the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor. The device features a large LCD display with easy-to-read in-progress results and measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rates simultaneously and detects and alerts the user to irregular heartbeat. The device comes equipped with the WHO Indicator, which provides an instant comparison to standards set by the World Health Organization. It comes in three variants, which are the talking digital blood pressure monitor (Rs 4,000), arm digital blood pressure monitor (Rs 4,200) and wrist digital blood pressure monitor (Rs 1,100).
