The Jammu and Kashmir Government is setting up a eco-herbal park near Maha Maya forests in the city here.
“The Tawi Eco-Herbal Park will provide tourism facilities in the area near Maha Maya forests,” J&K’s Minister of Forests and Environment Mian Altaf Ahmad said during a review of the work at the proposed site.
Set to be developed across a sprawling 133 hectares, the park is a part of the Compensatory Afforestation Managing and Planning Authority’s plan to encourage tourism in the area.
