The Manas National Park, famed for its one-horned rhinos, will open for tourists from November 4.
The park remains closed for almost six months during the rainy season every year and reopens with the onset of winter, its Project Director, Anindya Swargiary, told reporters on Monday.
Asked about the infrastructure condition of the park, which sustained heavy losses during three waves of flood this year, Swargiary said most of the damage was taken care of.
