Hyderabad has geared up for yet another hackathon – PaaSian. Using Progress Soft’s Pacific RollBase, start-ups can build and deploy their ideas to win prizes during the event beginning July 5.
Pacific RollBase is a recently launched PaaS (Platform-as-a-service) offered by Progress Software. “We will have experts to cover the basics on getting started with the solution,” an organiser has said.
“This tool requires 80 per cent clicks and 20 per cent code,” he said.
The winner will get prize money of Rs 10,000 and a start-up kit of $25,000 from Nasscom. All the participants will get $200 worth credit from Amazon, which is partnering PaaSian and Weekend Ventures to hold the event.
Progress’ Rollbase can power business applications in CRM, payroll and human resources, legal, automotive and telecommunications.
