“All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players…,” can the corporate world be too different?
Building on this theme, a book All the World is a Stage by TT Srinath, sensitivity trainer and HR expert, launched on Tuesday, highlights the drama in real life and uses it as lesson that can be used in team building and understanding inter-personal relationships. The author, also a stage artist himself, has used drama to highlight the lessons it holds for life in his first book. S Muthiah, historian and Founder President, Madras Book Club, releasing the book, said it “will get you thinking about business relations”.
First copy Receiving the first copy, L Lakshmanan of the Rane Group said the book draws interesting parallels between stage and business. Just as every character in a play is important in organisations too, every member of the team is key to its success.
TT Ashok, Managing Director, Taylor Rubber, introduced the book.
All the World is a Stage provides a ring side understanding of drama as it is played out in organisations and the lessons for life that it teaches.
