Visakha Dairy has donated ₹ 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s relief fund for relief and rehabilitation works in the areas hit by cyclone Titli in Srikakulam district, according to a press release.
Visakha Dairy chairman A. Tulasi Rao took the decision. The cheque was presented to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at Palasa by Visakha Dairy Managing Director S.V. Ramana on Wednesday.
TDP president and Power Minister Kala Venkata Rao and MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Visakha Dairy Directors A. Ramana Babu and Reddy Ramakrishna were present.
RINL gesture : Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited - Visakhapatnam steel plant Chairman and Managing Director P.K. Rath has made an appeal to all to donate liberally for relief and rehabilitation works.
While RINL management donated Rs 30 lakh for the cause, the employees declared that they would pool up Rs 65 lakh. The cheque for the total amount was handed over to the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by Rath at Palasa in Srikakulam district.
