The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), an initiative of Wadhwani Foundation, has announced an accelerator for growth stage start-ups. The three-month accelerator programme WF Venture ScaleUp will be conducted in Pune and Hyderabad.
“WF Venture ScaleUp is a zero equity and no fee programme,” Ajay Kela, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wadhwani Foundation, had said in a statement on Wednesday.
The start-ups will be taught in Ash Maurya’s Scaling Lean techniques. The US-based author of the book 'Running Lean: How to Iterate from Plan A to a Plan that works’ would guide the participants through video conference or in person.
“With over a million-youth turning 18 every month, India needs thousands of accelerators that drive job creation. India today has only 140 accelerators,” Ajay Kela said.
“Our goal is to create models for scalable and sustainable high-quality accelerators and build an online platform for entrepreneur connect,” he said.
Startups can register for the WF Venture ScaleUp accelerator programme at venturescaleup.wfnen.org before January 8.
