The Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak (IIM-R) is all set to organise for the second time its flagship annual student event called Infusion between January 17 and 19. The three-day festival will host over 50 events related to management, culture and sports with over 500 performers from top colleges across the country. Around 50,000 attendees are expected in various online and on-campus events.
A number of management events are planned during the three days. Some of these events include an HR case study competition - Tatva, Marketing event - Marketing Ace, Operations event - Operazione, Strategy event - Clepsydra, Finance event - Smart Beta. The War of the Bands and Fashion Show are highlights of the festival. Various cultural events that are part of the festival include dance competitions, stage plays, street plays, and an extempore debate. Sports events include cricket, badminton, table tennis, chess, futsol, tennis, throwball, basketball, carom, and Volleyball. IIM-R is the eighth IIM to be established under the government's 11th five year plan.
