Accenture Strategy has made 21 offers (including pre-placement offers), the highest so far, on the first day of the final placements at IIM Ahmedabad.
Other top recruiters who recruited during day 0 or Cluster 1 include A. T. Kearney, Bain & Co., Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co., Oliver Wyman, The Boston Consulting Group and others.
The firms that participated in Cluster 1 comprised four cohorts – international trade; investment banking and markets; management consulting and private equity, venture capital and hedge funds.
Finance firms offered roles in investment banking, private equity, venture capital and capital markets across functions and geographies. Consulting firms, offering management consulting roles across geographies, also hired in large numbers.
“We have been coming to IIM Ahmedabad for the last 7-8 years and our experience is delightful and exciting," said a partner from Oliver Wyman in a press statement.
"The differentiating factor of IIM Ahmedabad is the quality of students and it is our preferred campus for recruitment. We will continue to hire for our global and Indian offices.”
The second cluster will be held on 22nd February.
