IDFC Mutual Fund today launched an ‘equity opportunity series 1’, a close ended diversified equity fund.
The new fund, a three-year close-ended one, will open for subscription on April 9 and closes on April 10, 2013, it added.
“The fund will have a diversified portfolio. The key for diversification is to ensure maximum participation of companies and sectors in the portfolio. This also leads to manage liquidity/risk considerations,” Kenneth Andrade, Investments Head, IDFC AMC said.
