Landmark Constructions is launching Vertica – above all, a 17-storeyed, premium residential apartment project offering 82 apartments in the heart of Chennai.

Priced between Rs 3.61 crore to Rs 6.25 crore an apartment, the project is to come up at Royapettah on Peters Road on a plot of about an acre. The total cost of the project is estimated at about Rs 260 crore and is slated for completion in November 2013. All the clearances are in place and the ground breaking is to be held on May 8, said Mr T. Udayakumar, Managing Director, Landmark Constructions.

Residential units range from about 2,350 sq.ft of three bedrooms to about 4,300 sq.ft of duplex apartments of four BHK.

The duplex apartments will be on floors 12 to 16. Each apartment will have ‘2.5 car parks' in a multi-level automated facility and a servant studio to accommodate staff.

The basic price of built-up space is about Rs 14,000 a sq.ft with a floor rise of Rs 75 a sq f for every floor higher than the fifth floor.

Apart from modern amenities including a clubhouse on the 16{+t}{+h} floor, Vertica will have automated building management systems for comfort, security and efficiency, he said.

Landmark is also targeting the affordable segment with residential projects in the suburbs of Chennai such as Chromepet, Tambaram, Poonamallee and Sholinganallur .

The company which has six ongoing projects in the city plans 14 more residential projects ranging from villa-style gated communities to affordable apartment projects.
