Two months after they were first announced, the refreshed 2015 editions of Honda’s fully-faired sports motorcycle offerings, the CBR 150R and CBR 250R are now available for sale in India.

The new CBR 150R is now being offered with several new colour options including Candy Palm Green, Jazzy Blue Metallic and Sports Red. The bike will also feature race-inspired graphical elements.

The new CBR 250R will be available in two variants – a model equipped with the Combined Anti-lock Braking System (C-ABS) and the standard base model. The C-ABS distributes braking force evenly between front and rear wheels and prevents wheel lock-up in hazardous braking conditions. The 250R also picks up a host of new colour options including Sports Red, Black and Pearl Amazing White.

Both bikes comes with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) systems that evaluate a number of crucial parameters in order to inject the right amount of fuel. According to Honda, this ensures better mileage and lower emissions. The bikes also feature double overhead camshaft engines and liquid cooling.

Commenting on the launch, Y. S. Guleria, Honda’s Senior Vice President in charge of Sales & Marketing, said, “Both the CBR250R and 150R have enjoyed a frenzied adulation since their launch in India. While the new CBR 250R blends the thrill of an aggressive sports bike with the comfort of a premium tourer, the new CBR 150R is a pure racing sensation designed to thrill the speed enthusiasts.” The CBR 150R has a price tag that starts at ₹1,30,532 and the CBR 250R will set you back by at least ₹1,69,317 (ex-showroom Mumbai).
