Tyre manufacturer Michelin announced that its range of Michelin LTX Force SUV tyres will now be available in India. According to a press release from the company, the new range of tyres offer better on-road grip and off-road traction, and also come with improved durability.
The company said that the LTX Force uses ‘Compact Tread Technology’, the tread pattern for which is inspired by endurance races and is designed to provide a greater contact area, owing to higher tread blocks for durability and traction. Michelin claimed that this range lasts up to more than 35 per cent when compared to others in the segment. It also claimed that the braking distance is two metres shorter than other tyres in the category. These tyres have been tested in extreme mining conditions to ensure off-road traction and robustness, the company said in the release.
The range is available at Michelin retailers across the country.
