Even though it has been stung by the emissions scandal in the US and the Polo handbrake recalls in India, the Volkswagen juggernaut continues to roll.
Earlier this week, its Indian arm unveiled a new limited edition Polo Exquisite for buyers here. The new car features a collection of cosmetic upgrades and changes focused on bringing in some upmarket appeal without the cost of changes ripping a hole in your purse.
Some of the additions include a carbon-fibre finish centre console, new seat covers, detachable, made-to-size window blinds, matching floor mats, scuff plates, black roof foil and door mirrors with carbon-fibre finish. Minor changes to the trunk garnish and body side moulding has also been done.
